If you are looking for somewhere special to entertain your family or friends, business associates or staff, Skippers Restaurant offers you a particularly unique and thoroughly enjoyable evening of wining and dining.

Our cuisine is superb, the servings generous, and with a set price four course menu, the only extras are drinks. Your meal starts with a selection from the hors d'oeuvres table, followed by homemade soup.  Then choose a main course from the tempting dishes presented at your table by the chef. Puddings include our memorable chocolate cabbage (when in season!) and our famous bread and butter pudding, with second helpings often available. Our versatile wine list caters for most tastes and offers excellent value.

We are renowned for excellent service, warm hospitality and friendly staff. The ambience at Skippers is relaxed and welcoming, and there's no rush to finish. We have only one sitting in the evenings from Tuesday to Saturday each week at 7.45 for 8pm, and we close at 11pm. Your table is reserved for the whole evening, so you can enjoy coffee and liqueurs at your leisure. Sunday lunch is at 12.45 for 1pm.

Our main dining room seats up to 60, and we have three other separate dining areas, which can seat groups from 12 to 18 and from 24 to 26. Individual dining areas can be reserved for special functions, and the restaurant is available for private use on Monday evenings. The M2 & A2 provide fast access by road from a wide area.
